Schedule A / Rules and Restrictions:
The Client shall follow these rules and restrictions;
1. The fire pit shall only be used in accordance with provincial fire bans and municipal bylaws.
2. The house, greenhouse, and other barn entrances on the Premises are strictly off limits.
3. The use of raw rice, confetti, glitter, and smoke machines are prohibited. The expense from damage and clean up of such materials will be deducted from the damage deposit.
4. Bubble machines and sparklers can be used outside only and must be discarded properly.
5. All items brought to The Hill must be removed no later than the end of the Rental Period. Items not removed will be disposed of by The Hill at Client expense, with the expense paid from the damage deposit.
6. Absolutely no open flames (candles, and including but not limited to tea lights and lighters) are to be lit inside or around the barn.
7. All decorations must be used without causing damage to the barn or surrounding area or Client will be charged accordingly.
8. No items may be hung from light fixtures, electrical outlets, switches or other electrical equipment or receptacles.
9. Placement of tents and live entertainment must be approved by The Hill in advance.
10. Any furniture moved from anywhere on the Premises must be returned to its proper location.
11. Wooden chairs are not to be left outside under any circumstances.
12. Smoking prohibited on the Premises except for in the designated smoking area.
13. Clients and guests of The Hill on the Event Date are not permitted to drive anywhere else on the Premises other than the designated parking area.
14. Minors under the age of sixteen (16) must be supervised by an adult at all times.
15. Animals including but not limited to dogs, cats and horses but excluding service animals
are not allowed at The Hill unless prior approval from The Hill is granted.
16. The Event shall conclude by 1:00 am in the morning of the day immediately following the Event.
17. The Client shall not have excessive noise during the event such as to
create a nuisance in the sole opinion of The Hill. The Hill reserves the right to terminate the event if this restriction and its direction are not complied with.
18. The Client shall observe and obey the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the bylaws of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.
Covid 19 Policy
In the event that Nova Scotia Public Health Covid 19 guidelines prevents The Hill Venue from hosting your event, full refunds of all deposits are available.
